Once again Braedon of Braedon Photography sent me over a stunning wedding he recently shot in Cabo, Mexico at the One and Only Palmilla. The vibrant colors and beautiful details are really amazing! As is the brides fashion sense, check out all the carefully selected dresses and groomsmen outfits, not to mention the brides after party dress!! Wow!!

So as you may have noticed, when I travel I tend to take lots and lots of pictures…it took a while but here is a collection of them I think you might enjoy. They certainly have inspired me. I am dying to create some super preppy invites or cards with just the slightly hint of whimsy or quirkiness!

I cannot wait to share the inspiration from my trip to Cape Cod. Here is a quick sneak peek as I am still traveling and have limited internet access…

Well I am off for a family vacation for the week in Cape Cod. I have scheduled posts for you all week, but I thought I would leave you with some Cape Cod inspiration, perfect for a preppy chic, east coast vibe wedding…

From top left {these fabulous bags made from old sails…dying to have one of these!! via sea bags; old school rope bracelets (I happen to have this in navy..love it!) via J Crew; Anchors Away imprintables via Wiley Valentine; fabulous napkins via SMP; lighthouse photo via etsy; striped tie via J Crew; the next three photos including this fabulous seersucker wedding are via Stacey Kane; Blue Sailor letterpress greeting card via Wiley Valentine}
We recently created these custom cards for a client, and I just thought they were the cutest thing I had to share. The bride wanted a special way to ask each of her girlfriends to be a bridesmaid. Since they all live far away we created a custom card for each bridesmaid to be, including a photo of the bride and each girl. She took a humorous approach which completely reflects her personality.

Check out the wording above! Hilarious and oh so true… the cards were a huge hit!
I spotted this over at Oh Hello Friend and I am utterly smitten. I have a complete fascination with collages, books, bits of paper etc… and this little book that Danni made for her man is too cute!! Check out all the different hidden places to find secret notes. I LOVE this idea, and just may steal it one day to give to a loved one. What a fabulous and thoughtful gift!

Recently a dear friend of mine got engaged and I have been gathering inspiration for her wedding and her invitations. One element she definitely wants to tie in to the wedding is a feather. So here is a collection of feather images I have collected. It’s fabulous to see what different ways there are to incorporate such a delicate and gorgeous detail.

This invitation is the Meghan collection featuring a gorgeously detailed peony. The bride really had her heart set on chocolate envelopes, so we hand letterpressed them with gold ink and had them hand calligraphed!
This is a new feature I am going to be sharing with you…we send so many invitations out each day I thought it would be fun to share some of the latest and greatest…This first one is the Michelle collection.
I thought it would be fun to take a look back at where our branding started for Wiley Valentine and where we ended up today. It’s fun to see how our style has changed/developed. Emily and I both seem to always like to design something fresh and new, which has led us to change our logo slightly almost every year since we started!! Here is the visual journey…
