Mallory and Phil are quite possibly the most attractive couple I've ever seen in real life. Right? I mean, come on–get a load of them! They were married last fall in Fallbrook, California at the Beverly Mansion. Though I didn't make a lovely for Mallory, I was able to make the boutonnières for the gents! I don't often make boutonnières, so it was a fun diversion and I think these sweethearts came out quite lovely.
Tec was lucky enough to photograph this wedding and I ventured out to the Golden State with him for this sweet ceremony. We made a mini-vacation out of it for ourselves as well! When can you turn down a trip to the coast of California when you live in land-locked Nashville?

Sure, I'm a floral designer but sometimes I'm a seamstress, other times an engineer, and sometimes a decorator. That being said, I want to encourage more floral designers to think beyond the scope of flowers. Here's my project for the week -an affordable and great DIY project- and also something exceptionally charming for floral designers to add to their portfolio. ![]()

Hi there! Hope y'all are having a lovely day. I want to share some pictures of my son's baptism which happened in January. We had family come from Texas, Michigan and Virginia and friends from the NYC area. The mass was beautiful and Mikus looked sharp in his all white outfit. While preparing for all the activities that weekend I thought it would be great to have rose pins made for everyone taking part in the ceremony and a good way for people to know who the godparents were. I decided to go for the small rose pins in shades of blue and grey keeping it neutral, unisex and to go with the invitations.
I think they turned out perfect for the occasion without being flashy -a beautiful detail to add a punch to the wardrobe and a timeless keepsake that can also be worn over and over again. My husband has his pinned on his dark grey wool coat and wears it to work everyday. I wear my dark grey rose with black and purple.

I just decided to make this!

I thought it would be a cute idea for those that have fiancés that are into golf or those that are getting married at a golf club. I bought them in white and natural and painted some blue. You could paint them any color to match your wedding.

OK, well maybe in this case it's buttons and lace, but lace that looks like a doily… plus feathers. This is a mock up for boutonnieres for a friend's wedding. We had a fantastic “craft night” filled with good food, great drinks, and the best of friends to finish these up.
