Although this is a wedding I worked on some time ago, it has always stuck with me as one of my favorites to work on. The bride chose a simple, yet elegant, Bickham script in black for her placecards which were on a lovely textured white paper. The table numbers were also simple black numbers which complemented the centerpieces of flowering cactus flowers perfectly. I just found the floral arrangements to be so unique in their settings of gravel. Each was slightly different, and though a very simple design, it came together for a clean, crisp, classic look. These photos were are taken by Aaron Delesie.

Here is the perfect way to display your gorgeous sand dollar seating arrangements. Tie a luxe satin ribbon through one of the key holes and hang them from a tree bedecked with gorgeous florals. I love these purple arrangements. I worked with Jessica Vollstedt and the photographs are by DiLanatta Photography. They are just simply stunning.

I love this great map I created for Lena, who was having a lovely wedding in the Niagara Falls Wine Country vicinity. I didn’t even know they have vineyards up there, but sure enough, they do! Notice the gushing falls in the lower right corner. I spent a long time on this map making sure all the streets were accurate, and it turned out great. We even added a cute itinerary to the reverse side. It prints in full color on a thick white card and looks great in your welcome bags or in your invitation sets.

Properly addressing your envelopes is such an enormous task, and brides often have no idea where to start and thus can become overwhelmed. I thought it might be helpful to include some tips on some of the most common envelope addressing situations.
There are many ways to address your envelopes appropriately based on the marital status, family status or living arrangements of your guests. Please keep in mind that these “etiquette” tips vary by the source, and only you can decide how you want to address your envelopes. For a comprehensive guide you may want to take a look at Crane’s Blue Book of Stationery, Crane’s Wedding Blue Book, or the latest editions of Emily Post’s Etiquette and Emily Post’s Wedding Etiquette.
Here are several examples to get you started:

The Jewish wedding contract, or ketubah, is the perfect opportunity to use hand-lettered calligraphy. This ketubah shown here was used for a reform couple who elected to have their wording scripted in my Ella script style. It looks gorgeous in navy blue and perfectly accentuates the beautiful print they ordered. At the bottom there is room for witness signatures and everything. This is a reform ketubah that is written entirely in English. It’s absolutely gorgeous.
Continuing on our theme of save the dates this week is this beautiful letterpress map, printed double-sided and with a matching accommodations card. Done in the Paris design of our Lucky Orchid Invitation Line, the color was specifically mixed to match the pool-colored envelopes.
The Grand Poobah of our save the date line is the tri-fold. With six panels available, you can include information regarding every aspect of your wedding weekend. I usually like to incorporate a cover, map and formal save the date on the front, but on this save the date in particular we’ve got information provided on the reverse side as well. It includes an itinerary, accommodations and travel information.
