This kind of sums up my feeling today. I adore soft shades of purple mixed with deep aubergine tones. This inspiration board evokes the perfect ethereal quality I adore… a beautiful cherry blossom lined path, ballet inspired couture pumps, parisian macaroons, and natural fruit infused drinks.

I saw the Marbella dress on Green Wedding Shoes and loooved it. The colors are quite close to my color palette idea. I am not quite sure if I am on board for bridesmaids wearing different colored dresses. I do like dresses in the same shades/color families. I certainly like the idea of the maid of honor wearing a different dress.
We were so thrilled to see yesterday's “The Perfect Palette” blog post with a Laura Hooper Calligraphy themed inspiration board!
Chrissy from The Perfect Palette incorporates our Firenze script, sand dollar themed placecards, maps and totes to create the lovely seaside wedding palette - and we just love it!

This color board is dedicated to my new color crush right now…yellow! I automatically think retro, Palm Springs, mod…enjoy. ![]()

One of the most popular color palettes I'm working with for this bridal season is cameo and black, which was also featured in the April 2008 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings.
Here's a little cameo/black inspirational board that I made with photos from Flickr. I really love this color combination.

1. Pink Lady, 2. Harmony in Peach Blush Bracelet by Fashion Touch, 3. Day 118 - Guerlain pearls, 4. Dewie peach clutch bag, 5. Untitled, 6. the pinks felt circles pillow, 7. Cristal Room Baccarat, 8. Peach-Flavored, 9. Vintage Style Floral Beaded Hair Comb

What makes a wedding stand out?
Can't help but applaud Wedding Vow for choosing Nishka and Carl's summer wedding as a great example of new American Classic wedding colors.
Wedding Vow Magazine on newstands now. For more information about this aqua and poppy wedding see the article on their website. As always, rock star-status photographer, Lisa Lefkowitz takes my breath away.

You've been seeing it all around — the Pantone projection book has declared Lavender {along with other shades of purple} as a hot color for 2009. I just saw an inspiration board on the Bridal Bar Blog that inspired me to post about a wedding I did the calligraphy for last year.

The Whole Truth is that this furniture is beat up/broken/unwanted clunky metal office junk left over from a now-defunct property care company. The Pretty-Sounding Version of the Truth is that I have access to a treasure trove of vintage industrial office furniture for the redesign of my home office.

One of my favorite color palettes for weddings include Peony Pink, Satin Ivory, and Warm Champagne hues. Last year, Rose Marie Lion captured the essence of our beautiful and gracious couple, Atsu and Ryan, who ventured from New York to celebrate their wedding in Napa Valley. Their wedding at Auberge du Soleil was one of my favorites from 2007 and I hope it will inspire your wedding.
