About Sarah @ Parrott Design Studio

I would love to take a little vacation to Italy right about now. Europe around the holidays sounds lovely. Next spring, Jamie and her fiance are getting married on a vineyard in Gaiole in Chianti, Italy at Castello di Meleto. It just sounds romantic, no?

Here are some of the latest things that are leaving the studio…

This was a fun invite we did with the fabulous Black Ink in Pacific Palisades. The client chose the Ashley invitation from our Luxe album but chose a different flower for a more custom feel.

Kristy @ Momental Designs's Picture
Kristy Rice, Pennsylvania Vendor: Invitation Artist Website: Momental Designs About Me: I remember drawing by flashlight way past my bedtime as a young child – I never stopped. For me creating art is not an act but a lifestyle. I am passionate about creating moments on paper, my home, loving my hubby and believe you can never have too many fantastic handbags.
About Kristy @ Momental Designs

An enchanted garden is the inspiration for Christine’s custom wedding invitations.  She loves flowers and pattern so I envisioned a simple dahlia silhouette filled with my signature lacy pattern.  Hand-painted touches of creamy ivory, rich plum and sheer lilac are lovely against a champagne shimmer cardstock.

Courtney @ Flush Designs's Picture
Flush Designs, Pasadena Vendor: Invitations, Event & Floral Design, Photography Website: Flush Designs About Me: Flush Designs is run and owned by me, Courtney C. Keefe de Jauregui. It is all encompassing, from the custom & handmade invitations seen at my website, to full exploration in event styling and design, to flower arranging, to playing sidekick and second shooter to my husband's wedding photography. I am working on becoming a wedding "One stop shop". :) I am a graduate in fine art painting, but a self taught graphic designer. As I still needed to get my hands dirty, I started taking letterpress classes, thus becoming my new love. When I am not busy working (usually still in my pajamas) and telling myself to remember to buy a new chair (this one hurts), I am singing to my 3 cats and enjoying a cold pint with my husband at our favorite local Irish pub. Maybe it's in the reverse order. :)
About Courtney @ Flush Designs

I am delighted to finally share with you this invitation suite and matching menu, & program cover. You can view the save the dates here. I am so excited as we will also be shooting this wedding in Whistler, Canada and enjoying a week long vacation as well.

All the pieces are designed by me and letterpressed by my favorite peeps over at Spark Letterpress.

About Kristy @ Momental Designs

After spending several days at The Encore, Las Vegas last month, it was difficult not to come home with a head full of inspirations and ideas. I spent one afternoon slowly walking around the casino, sketching and snapping pictures. What is most striking is the manner in which the design evolves as you experience the space. Check in is alive with massive red flowers and natural light, while the casino space is darker and dramatic with its heavy light cast by red shaded chandeliers. Intense color everywhere was balanced by opulent golds.

momental_designs1805

Most inspired by the massive blooms at check-in, I envisioned an invitation just laden with rich red blossoms. The gate-fold design opens to reveal a layout featuring strong strokes of shimmering red inks and gold painted stems. A stunning gold paisley cardstock adds to the opulent feel overall.

Cynthia Converse, Syracuse, NY Vendor: Invitations Website: Bella Figura About Me: Bella Figura is a wind-powered, eco-friendly letterpress shop committed to the fine artisanship of letterpress printing and the environment. Along with our sister company, Smock, we print our wedding invitations and stationery on only the finest luxury cotton and bamboo papers to ensure the most beautiful of prints in sight and to the touch, while working tirelessly to do our little piece for the good of the earth. Turning invitations into art on paper while dedicating ourselves to the environment is not what we do, it's who we are.

Grommeted Letterpress Save the Date by Bella Figura

Based on our Marjorca design, this fun letterpress save the date is actually two cards that we drilled and attached with a grommet. It was printed in garden green paired with a subtle cream ink, which creates a sophisticated tone-on-tone effect.

Hot Off the Press {Pretty in Pink}

November 10th, 2009 @ 1:34 pm by Wiley Valentine

This invitation suite we just did with our fabulous retailer, The Dandelion Patch, came out so pretty I had to share. The bride chose the Vintage Romance collection from the Letterpress Album and customized the design with her color palette of Champagne and Blush.

About Sarah @ Parrott Design Studio

Hello! I hope you had a nice weekend. The weather was just lovely here & continues to be. I recently had the opportunity to once again work with artist & illustrator Jen of Swallowfield. I was quite honored to be asked because these save the dates are for her brother, Sam and his fiance, Laura!

Laura and Sam are getting married under a beautiful live oak tree next Spring, so Jen drew a live oak. Using her illustration to frame the design, I set the text using two simple and elegant typefaces.

It’s a Jaime Thing is a blog I have been following for quite some time and over the last few months Jaime and I have become blogging friends, so to speak.  I reached out to her to put together some details to inspire an invitation design of mine and she came back to me with this dramatic and dark, True Blood board!
