When Aaron and Brooke shared this gorgeous wedding they did, I couldn’t wait to share it with you. Never before have I seen a Las Vegas wedding done so uniquely, beautifully and elegantly while completely reflecting the couple and their personalities! The photos are from the incredible Aaron Delesie, and the coordination was done by the brilliant Brooke of Brooke Keegan Events. The gorgeous florals are by the always fabulous R. Jack Balthazar. The wedding took place at the Four Seasons in Las Vegas.
When I found out that the Wedding & Portrait Photographer’s International Convention was going to be held in February, around Valentine’s Day this year, I decided to make the most out of my obligation to be in Las Vegas by starting a documentary project on the Las Vegas Wedding Chapels, called the Vegas Wedding Project.

Morgan + Jake were married on January 10th at the LDS Temple in Las Vegas. They found us through a mutual family friend that insisted they check us out and we are so glad that they did! We were especially looking forward to shooting a different temple than we have use to, it was a nice a change and break from the norm.
I’m sure Morgan + Jake’s faces look familiar, you may recognize them from their engagement session we shot back in November. The wedding day was lovely and we had some extra time between the temple ceremony and reception so we used the Las Vegas surroundings to our advantage for some creative portraiture.

A few weeks ago Justin surprised me with tickets to see The Killers live at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. Just one week prior to this we were hired by a couple from Las Vegas (Morgan + Jake) to shoot their wedding in January and have since been emailing back and forth trying to figure out when and how we could get together to shoot their engagement session. The surprise trip to Las Vegas was a perfect excuse to “kill two birds with one stone” and photograph this adorable couple while making it a trip to see The Killers in concert (which was AMAZING, one of my favorite bands of all time, thank you sweetheart!).
It was awesome meeting Morgan + Jake and they were great in front of our camera, especially with never meeting us in person until we pulled up at the Mandalay Bay valet parking, which is where we picked them up and drove around town. Here are some of our favorites from that session:
