Today will be a blogsplosion of images from Jennifer and Marks amazing wedding in Puerto Moreles at Cieba del Mar. It was so difficult not to post a million images because this wedding had all my favorite things -veils and skirts blowing in the wind, fuschia roses and bridesmaids dresses against a teal colored ocean, amazing shoes, a lot of crying, awesome lighting, an outdoor evening reception, awesome dancing, lots of tequila, pelicans, Cuban cigars, grass huts and amazing love all around. At every turn there was something beautiful, but it was just that which this amazing love was set against. And I believe that often, all is revealed on the dance floor. Amazing.

I'm positively drooling with excitement! Jennifer and Mark's wedding at Cieba del Mar in Puerto Moreles, Mexico, was pretty amazing. Seriously. I drooled. All the way back home, feverishly editing photos on the plane until my battery died, and then I was sad. I got home only just hours ago, and I just can't seem to stop!
It was so wonderful to hang out with this family again, and getting to know Jennifer and Mark even better. We began the weekend with a catamaran cruise out of Puerto Aventuras and a rehearsal dinner back at Cieba. Naomi (my trusty roommate/best friend/studio manager) did get a little sea sick:

Last July, Kristin and Jesse let us in on their little secret: they were planning to elope in Mexico in March, and they wanted us to be there to document it! Together for six years, their families knew they were going on vacation and expected Kristin to come home with an engagement ring. Kristin and Jesse returned home giddy to share not just Kristin's engagement ring (which she wore for the first time in public on the plane to Mexico), but wedding bands, too!!
Jesse and Kristin are friends with one of my couples from 2006, Katie and Mike. I also find out that Jesse went to high school in New Hampshire with several mutual friends too, including another one of my 2006 brides, Erin Lenz, (my) wedding planner and florist Kate Parker, and even a friend from middle school who used to live right down the road from me (all of this, we discovered, on Facebook)! It is a small world indeed.
For the sake of all the friends and family who are itching to see pictures of their nuptials, I have packed this post with lots of beautiful images. But first, a slideshow. Click here to open in a separate window.
After a morning relaxing by the pool together, I accompanied Kristin to her hair appointment at the resort's spa. Cool as a cucumber, she is.
