I spent a recent Friday night getting crazy… with a hot glue gun and feathers and by eating ice cream straight from the tub. Yep. That's how nuts it was around here.
OK, well maybe in this case it's buttons and lace, but lace that looks like a doily… plus feathers. This is a mock up for boutonnieres for a friend's wedding. We had a fantastic “craft night” filled with good food, great drinks, and the best of friends to finish these up.

This is Chelsea over at Oh, My Deer! I feel so blessed and flattered to be a part of something as amazing as WeddingBee PRO. And since I’d bet that I’m a new name to many of you, I should probably go ahead and do an informal introduction of myself.
After living the first twenty-something years in Georgia, I moved to Music City USA to take a job at a Montessori school. I’m in my third year of teaching here, and my second year as a Visual Arts teacher. And to be really honest with you, I credit the children and their creativity for the creation of Oh, My Deer. It’s just so effortless for them, and everything they touch seems to turn to gold.
Oh, My Deer was born out of a love for play-on-words and getting my hands dirty. After a slow start of making mediocre aprons, pretty miserable purses and greeting cards that never quite seemed cool enough, I finally found something that I liked making, and that made the wearer feel beautiful—hair pieces! I mean, not like a toupee or extensions (though that mistake has been made before), but more along the lines of flowers and feathers for your hair.

Thanks a ton for taking time to read a little bit about Oh, My Deer. I’m looking forward to contributing to this precious site! Love love.
