Rustic Swank: Real Wedding in Palm Springs!

We had such a blast this weekend shooting this wedding. It was gorgeous. The details were amazing, from an old world Spanish-style house for the ceremony, to the swanky Palm Springs Movie Colony Hotel reception turned fab pool party! Totally fun, stunning and amazing!

Here are just a few of my favorites. To see a ton (seriously like the whole wedding with a million details) more of the complete coverage go over to Erin Hearts Court. I must give a shout out to Megan over at La Partie Events for doing such a wonderful job with all the florals and set up! She even timed it so well, that we actually got to eat our whole meal! That never happens, and let me tell you it was soooo good!!! :grin:

Almost by accident. But after my first wedding I was sold. I moved full force ahead. And within a year I went full-time leaving behind my life as a therapist and social worker. And the rest, as they say, is history. In November I celebrated my 3rd year of being a full-time photographer! Today, I feel so blessed to get to do something I love and to work with amazing couples all over the country and world! I have traveled to the Bahamas, Jamaica, all over Mexico and all the way to England to shoot weddings. I just love how in love these two are with each other! Meridith and Colin are so fun and full of energy. It was great meeting up with them at the Viceroy in Palm Springs for an engagement shoot. I cannot wait until the wedding. See you both soon!

It differs from person to person. For me, I take my cues from fashion magazines, bridal runway shows, and window displays to name just a few. Other times I credit my travels and the many hotels that I stay at for momentary inspiration.
