I’m still trying to play catch-up this week after Saturday’s wedding. I have a ton of amazing photos to share (most thanks to my fab SIL).
We’re up to our ears in packing boxes right now - moving out of our place Friday morning and getting of our furniture ready to be stored for another month until work on our new place is completed. The renovation is moving along well - the kitchen’s been delivered but it’s sitting in about 50 boxes in the living room. We have holes where the sinks, toilets and tub will sit!! Plus there are a lot of finishing touches still to find - cabinet hardware, lighting, wallpaper and paint. It’s so exciting to see the progress on the work week-to-week!
The wedding went wonderful - the room was a glow, Shira was absolutely stunning and Loren had the most incredible smile on his face throughout the entire day!
How do I love thee, let me count the ways…
I’m at such a loss for words when it comes to Megan & Eric. I feel like we’ve been friends forever, even though we only met last year. These two are amazing - together and separate. Their warmth, generosity, spirit, individuality, and creative conscious just blow me away. I feel like we’ve supported each other a lot through the last year and I hope that friendship never ever ends. If you’re interested in the amazing story of how they met and how fate intertwined their lives, check out their story on on Meg’s website.

Engagement Session
Wedding Part One
So the first half of the night was beautiful, elegant, touching, and very personal. What you may not have known is that Meg and Rahul planned a costumed karaoke reception for their guests. And not just any normal karaoke event, but one led by the most awesome karaoke dj in the world, DJ PURPLE. Major props to him for having every English song on hand, but also foreign hits that were in their native language! Yeah, we heard German punk/pop for the first time and some familiar Indian hits. It was as if all of their friends had been waiting for ages to have a proper stage to show off their Guns and Roses chops.
Meg and Rahul had been telling their friends to bring a costume and their a-game. The madness was brought and the rest is now history.
Meghul, you guys ROCK HARD.

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate love than reminisce about one of my fabulous weddings. This darling couple are such a special pair and I have been *dying* to share these photos with you! What do you get when a graphic designer marries an architect/landscape architect?? Pure creativity, and a wedding dripping with details. I could barely contain myself as i waited for guests to arrive for the ceremony. It was everything I could’ve ever dreamed of for them and their reaction was priceless.
I’ll walk you through the heartfelt ceremony. It took place on the back lawn at Rancho Sol Del Pacifico, a private estate in Malibu. The azure skies seemed to melt into the horizon and you could barely distinguish sky from sea. A grouping of olive trees created a focal point for the ceremony, where the couple was married by a couple whose marriage and love they admire.
The gorgeous photos below are courtesy of my pal Jay Reilly, a fantastic photographer out of Oceanside.
