It's official - we found a venue for our renewal celebration - read more about the plans, the inspiration, more inspiration and the save the date.
It was difficult to find a venue to perfectly suit our guest list of only 110 or so. We wanted rustic but not too casual, blank palette but not uninspired and of course flexibility ('lots of custom decor planned). Driving past the entry gates of this 1800's “Cottage” (as it is humbly named) I felt as if I took a gracious step back in time. Following the deep curves of the driveway I caught a glimpse of the towering structure and it's massive screened in wrap around porch.
One of the things that I love about my days is that they’re never the same. One day, it's all computer office work, another is all about client meetings, then it's about finding props or working with my staff. It's so different every day and Reason #1 that I love being a floral designer is that I get to go off site, out of the office! Whenever I have a day off (which seems rare these days) I get in my silver Jeep and we cruise and go on site visits.

Ok so as you may have seen the wedding I posted yesterday from Braedon of Braedon Photography. I was especially loving the venue, Marvimon, located in Los Angeles. I think it so hard to find a unique wedding location these days, and this one just has so much character and unique aspects that I am totally smitten. I love the brick walls, and urban vibe mixed with the fabulous outdoor area. How perfect! Also the retro vibe of the furnishings is so great.
